Harry Maguire could have left "Manchester United" last summer, but ultimately decided to stay in Manchester.
However, the Englishman lost the captain's armband and has only played 23 minutes for the club so far this season, continuing to face constant criticism.
Nevertheless, the player himself claims that he does not react to criticism and tries to distance himself from it.
"I think I'm not the type of player who is greatly affected by criticism. Over the past few years, I have experienced a lot and even served as the captain of 'Manchester United'. It comes with a lot of responsibility and it is both a good and a bad thing," Maguire said in an interview with the media.
The defender also stated that the "Man Utd" club did not want to sell him last summer.
"I can say that 'Manchester United' were pleased with me, and I am ready to fight for my place in the team. I strive to show what I am worth in every training session.
At the beginning of the season, we play one game per week, but in the near future the coach will have to increase rotation, and I have to take advantage of my chances," Maguire said.
