Announced candidates for FIFA awards

FIFA has announced candidates to be named the best of last season.

Quite unexpectedly, among the candidates for the best coach of the season is not the world champion, Argentine Lionel Scaloni. The nominees are - Ange Postecoglou ("Celtic" and "Tottenham"), Pep Guardiola ("Manchester City"), Simone Inzaghi ("Inter"), Xavi ("Barcelona"), Luciano Spaletti (last season with "Napoli", now with the Italian national team)

The contenders for the goalkeeper of the season: Yassine Bounou ("Sevilla" and "Al Hilal"), Ederson ("Manchester City"), Marc-Andre Ter Stegen ("Barcelona"), Andre Onana ("Inter" and "Man Utd"), Thibaut Courtois ("Real").

The contenders for the best player of the season award: Lionel Messi (PSG and Miami "Inter"), Victor Osimhen, Kvicha Kvaratskhelia (both - "Napoli"), Bernardo Silva, Julian Alvarez, Erling Haaland, Rodri, Kevin De Bruyne (all - "Manchester City"), Declan Rice ("West Ham" and "Arsenal"), Marcelo Brozović ("Inter"), Kylian Mbappe (PSG), Ilkay Gundogan ("Man City" and "Barcelona").
