In the German league, the Dortmund club, which is currently in 13th place, is strengthening its ranks. The team has acquired "Saarbruecken" goalkeeper Marc Ziegler and signed a three-year contract with him.
The 30-year-old goalkeeper was loaned to Bielefeld last season, but failed to displace Matthias Hain from the starting lineup and only managed to play in four matches.
The goal of the experienced goalkeeper is now to move to Dortmund, where he will be the backup for the main goalkeeper Roman Weidenfeller.
"I am convinced that next season will be much better for the Borussia team in the Bundesliga," commented the goalkeeper.
M. Ziegler became the third acquisition for the Dortmund team for the next season, after the club also signed Jakub Blaszcykowski and Giovanni Federico.
