A tragedy shook Colombian football.

After losing in a local championship, the president of "Tigres", Edgaras Paezas, was shot.

As the club reported, the 63-year-old leader, after an unsuccessful second league match (lost 2-3 at home to the "Atletico" team - ed. note), was going home with his daughter, but near the stadium, a motorcycle approached their car.

Two men sitting on it fired fatal shots at E. Paezas, while his daughter managed to escape.

Now a mourning has been declared in all Colombian football leagues, and the deceased president will be honored in the upcoming matches.
