One of the greatest Belgian footballers of all time Eden Hazard is ending his professional career.
Former London "Chelsea" and Madrid "Real" footballer is ending his career at the age of just 32.
"We must listen to our body and stop at the right time. After 16 years and more than 700 matches, I have decided to end my professional career.
I have managed to fulfill my dream and enjoy playing in various stadiums around the world.
Throughout my career, I had the opportunity to meet many great coaches and teammates, I want to thank them all. I will definitely miss all of them.
I also want to thank all the clubs and the Belgian national team. I also thank my family and everyone who was there in both good and bad times.
Finally, I want to thank all the fans who supported me and led me forward.
Now it's time to enjoy time with family and embrace new challenges," E. Hazard said in a statement.
During his career, the Belgian won the "Premier League" twice, "La Liga" in UEFA European leagues, and once lifted the Champions League trophy.
