Famous Italian teams oppose the federation's plans to hold the country's Supercup matches in Saudi Arabia.

As reported by "La Gazzetta dello Sport", Napoli and Fiorentina teams presented strong arguments.

According to the clubs, they are concerned about the security situation in the Middle East, and this trip would be too exhausting before the start of the European cup knockout matches.

The Italian Supercup tournament is planned to be held in Riyadh on January 21-24 next year.

It will also include teams from Milan's Inter and Rome's Lazio.
