Sadly infamous Sepp Blatter criticized his former workplace FIFA.
The Swiss lawyer had his say on the 2030 World Cup, which will take place in several countries, announced FIFA.
"To split the tournament in this way is absurd. The final stage of the World Cup should be compact," said S. Blatter to the Swiss media.
FIFA justified their decision by saying: "101 matches will take place in neighboring countries or at least countries that are geographically close to each other. Everything will go smoothly with the help of well-developed transport and infrastructure. Three matches will take place in South America, in neighboring countries, commemorating the hundredth anniversary."
S. Blatter believes that for an event taking place over a year and a half, it should only be held on one continent.
"For historical reasons, the 2030 World Cup should only take place in South America," said the former FIFA president, who has been accused of corruption multiple times.
