Having left European football, striker Cristiano Ronaldo effortlessly found himself at the top of the list of the world's highest paid players.

The publication "Forbes" announced that this year the 38-year-old player from the "Al Nassr" club will earn a whopping $200 million salary, with an additional $60 million coming from commercial contracts.

In second place is Miami "Inter" newcomer Lionel Messi, who will receive $66 million per season from the team and an additional $70 million from activities outside the field.

In third place is "Al Hilal" striker Neymar (total $112 million).
