J. Evans admitted considering the end of his career

Jonny Evans unexpectedly returned to the "Manchester United" team last summer.

The experienced defender initially signed a month-long contract with his former club in order to play in friendly matches. However, during these matches, the 35-year-old defender convinced Erik ten Hag to keep him for the whole season.

The Northern Irish national team member revealed that last season he often thought about the end of his career.

"Last season, I really often thought that everything was coming to an end. I had a lot of problems due to injuries.

However, people around me said that I shouldn't think about the end of my career yet, but I had to prove it to myself," Evans opened up at a press conference.

This season, the defender has already played four matches and provided one assist for "Man Utd".
