“Al Ittihad” team striker Karim Benzema - troubles and a huge negative publicity.

French Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin accused his compatriot of being associated with the terrorist organization “Muslim Brotherhood”.

“Mr. K. Benzema has sad notorious ties with this organization,” the official said on television.

These allegations against the striker came after the veteran publicly expressed support for Palestinians fighting in Israel.

French Senator Valerie Boyer is already urging to strip the player of the “Golden Ball” award he received last year and his citizenship if these allegations are confirmed.

Meanwhile, K. Benzema himself, according to “Le Parisien”, seriously considers suing the minister for possible defamation.
