The club's management appointed Sammy Lee as the new head coach of the team on Monday.
The 48-year-old specialist will replace Sam Allardyce, who announced his unexpected resignation after leading the team for eight years.
"I am extremely pleased to have the opportunity to lead Bolton," said S. Lee. "Sam has left, but left a great legacy, so it is my duty to continue the work that has been started and move forward."
In 2005, starting as one of the coaches in the Bolton team, the Englishman also said: "When I received the offer, it took me only a second to decide."
S. Lee will not be a newcomer in the head coach position. However, he previously had to lead only the reserves team at Liverpool. Later, he also worked as an assistant to the main team and the strategists of the England national team.
"I am proud to be sitting here in front of you all as the head coach of Bolton," he said. "The knowledge I received from S. Allardyce is invaluable.
"Now the team's position is really good - we are fighting for a place in the Europa League tournament.
Our main goal is to maintain the stability of the players and ensure that we achieve the results that we deserve after so much hard work has been put in."
