In the 35th round of the Scottish championship, two league outsiders met - "St. Mirren", occupying the second to last place, and "Dunfermline", a step below. The important victory was achieved by "Dunfermline", reviving their hopes of remaining in the "Premier" league.

"St. Mirren" 0 - 1 "Dunfermline" 58' [0 - 1] Tam McManus

Before the round, "St. Mirren" had a four-point advantage over "Dunfermline" and knew that a victory would practically condemn their opponents to relegation. However, in the first half, the visitors played more successfully - Souleymane Bamba and Adam Hammill had opportunities to score.

After the break, a tough battle continued on the field, with "Dunfermline" attacking better. However, Tam McManus's goal was disallowed for offside, and the goalkeeper saved A. Hammill's shot.

Nevertheless, in the 58th minute, after Scott Muirhead's shot rebounded off the ball, T. McManus, the first to rush to it, put the visitors ahead. At the end of the match, despite the pressure from "St. Mirren", "Dunfermline" took home important three points and reduced the gap to one.
