"Manchester United" and "Paris St.Germain" have agreed on the transfer of Argentine national team defender Gabriel Heinze. The German-born Argentine will become a player for the team.
The amount of the deal is not disclosed, but it is likely that Heinze cost "The Red Devils" a substantial sum. He did not want to part ways with his main defender, and only after prolonged negotiations did the attempts of the English Cup owner end in success.
The purchase of the 26-year-old defender was requested by Manchester club manager Sir Alex Ferguson. According to him, Heinze is supposed to form a central defender pair with Rio Ferdinand and thus solve the "Man Utd" defense center problem.
