"Manchester United" on Sunday offered no significant resistance to the "Manchester City" team in the city derby and lost at home with a score of 0:3.
Despite the bitter defeat, "Man Utd" coach Erik ten Hag saw some positives and stated that the team is moving forward.
"In the first half, the game was even and everything changed with a penalty kick, but even after that we had opportunities to equalize the score before the break. We have played the last three matches against 'City' on equal terms, which we could have won," said ten Hag.
The Dutchman also commented on the decision to choose Jonny Evans over Raphael Varane for the match.
"The decision to start the match with Evans instead of Varane was a tactical one that I made," said the "Man Utd" coach.
