Cristiano Ronaldo on Tuesday found himself in the spotlight multiple times on social media.

Initially, the 38-year-old Portuguese, before the evening match, posted four smiling emojis on his "Instagram" record on the social network for "Astelevision."

"AS" video journalist Tomas Roncero spoke about how Lionel Messi only won "Ballon d'Or" for one good World Championship, despite his unconvincing season at PSG and his move to MLS. The Spanish journalist continued that in their time, Xavi, Iniesta, Lewandowski, and immediately Haaland should have won this award instead of the Argentine.

Ronaldo's reaction indicated that he agreed with Roncero's opinion and somewhat laughed at the situation.

Later on Tuesday, the legendary forward faced Messi fans during the match. They were chanting Messi's name, and Ronaldo silenced those fans in the "King's Cup" quarterfinals.

During the match, Ronaldo jokingly wanted to replace the referee, who was known for controversial decisions.

Nevertheless, after a tough battle with extra time, the team represented by the Portuguese, "Al Nassr," defeated "Al Ettihad" 1:0 and advanced to the quarterfinals of the "King's Cup."

Sadio Mane scored the winning goal.
