And Czech national team striker Milan Baroš received a three-match suspension for stopping in front of his opponent and plugging his nose.

The former "Liverpool" and "Aston Villa" player behaved this way during a match in the "Ligue 1" against "Rennes" on April 18, against Cameroonian defender Stephane M'Bia, also gesturing several times as if trying to indicate that he smelled bad.

The disciplinary committee of the French professional football league stated that these were not racist gestures.

M.Baroš is suspended until the end of the season, with the ban taking effect from Monday. This means that the player will miss the remaining three "Ligue 1" matches.

However, the team "Lyon" has already secured its sixth consecutive French champion title, so this loss is no longer important for the club.

Speaking about his actions, M.Baroš stated that they were not racist gestures - he simply wanted to show S.M'Bia that he should back off and let him breathe.
