In the European Championship qualifying round, the Portugal national team defeated Liechtenstein with a score of 2-0.

The winners were led forward in the 46th minute by Cristiano Ronaldo, who has been demonstrating excellent form both at club and national team level.

For him, this was his 128th goal for his national team. Joao Cancelo doubled the score in the 57th minute.
