The Moldovan national team played a 1-1 draw with the Albanians at home and kept their chances of qualifying for the European Football Championship alive.

In the 25th minute, Sokol Cikalleshi put the visitors ahead by converting a penalty kick from 11 meters.

Meanwhile, Moldovan defender Vladyslav Baboglo equalized the score in the 87th minute as the match neared its end.

If Poland wins or draws against the Czechs, Moldova would need to defeat the latter national team on Monday to cause a major upset and qualify for the Old Continent championship.
