The UEFA did not allow a minute of silence to start the match between the teams of Poland and Israel in the European Youth (up to 21 years old) Championship qualifier.
However, the players of both teams ignored the instructions of European officials and paid tribute to the people killed by terrorists on October 7th.
At the start of the match, football was not played - both teams did not fight for the ball and the players stood calmly in their places for a minute.
The match ended with a score of 2:1 in favor of the Polish team.
