London club attacker Andriy Shevchenko will soon lie on the operating table - the Ukrainian will undergo groin surgery. Due to this injury, the footballer missed this week's Champions League semi-final match against "Liverpool".
"Andriy got injured in training last Sunday and later we decided not to let him play against Liverpool. We hope he will be able to play in the remaining matches and the operation will be performed after the end of the season," the official statement from the London club stated.
After finishing the Champions League battles, "Chelsea" will try to successfully play the remaining "Premier" league matches against "Arsenal", "Man Utd" and "Everton", and try to catch up with "Man Utd" who are 5 points ahead.
