M. Gallardo: I'm traveling to Saudi Arabia for personal reasons

Marcelo Gallardo is considered one of the most promising coaches in the world. However, his move to Saudi Arabia had to make more than one football fan sit up and take notice.

Soon to become the coach of "Al Ittihad," M. Gallardo confirmed this transition.

"I will accept the offer from 'Al Ittihad' for personal reasons. They convinced me with their big project in an interesting league.

This opens my eyes. I look at everything as something new, it motivates me, I can't wait for the moment to start working," said the Argentine coach.

Having coached the "River Plate" team for 8 years, Gallardo (47) won the Argentine Cup three times, the Copa Libertadores twice, the Copa Sudamericana once, one Argentine championship, and three Argentine Super Cups.
