Professional footballer Fabio Quagliarella, one of the brightest strikers of the last decade in Serie A, ended his career.
Former striker of Torino, Sampdoria, Juventus, and other teams announced his retirement on Sunday.
F. Quagliarella announced, "I am forced to stop playing. I am a free agent, but my physical condition is not acceptable to return to the field," wrote the 40-year-old striker.
During his career, F. Quagliarella scored 238 goals and made 62 assists.
