On Tuesday, a meeting of the English Premier League club leaders took place to discuss a very important issue.
During the meeting, a vote was held regarding the possibilities of loaning between clubs that have significant connections with each other. For example, "Chelsea" with "Strasbourg", "Manchester City" with "Girona", "Troyes", "Newcastle United" with clubs from Saudi Arabia.
It was expected that the decision would be to halt all these direct transfers, but 13 clubs did not agree.
13 club leaders voted in favor of this rule, 7 other clubs - against. In this case, 14 club approval was needed, but it was not achieved.
Breaking: Premier League vote 13-7 for the motion to ban related-party loans - meaning that it FAILS to pass by a single vote (minimum threshold of 14).

Means #NUFC could sign players from PIF-owned clubs in January, should they wish. ⬇️⬇️⬇️https://t.co/dVbeBS0PJX
