Jose Mourinho's contract with AS Roma will expire next summer and it is not yet clear where this strategist's career will turn.
The 60-year-old Portuguese is mentioned as a possible replacement for Carlo Ancelotti if he does leave Real Madrid.
However, Mourinho himself does not doubt that Ancelotti will continue working in Madrid.
"Could I replace Ancelotti in Madrid? Florentino Perez is an incredibly intelligent person. He has an amazing coach, so why should he think about something else?"
"I am a true Madridista and I hope Ancelotti stays at the helm of the team. He is a perfect coach for Real."
"I think only fools like me can leave Real, even though the club does not want that. I left, even though I was asked to stay."
"I am sure that Ancelotti will easily make a decision after Perez's call," - said Mourinho in an interview with Rai1.
The Portuguese also admitted that in the future he does not rule out the possibility of coaching one of the clubs in Saudi Arabia.
"I think in the future I will take on a job in Saudi Arabia. However, at the moment I am not thinking about it," said Mourinho.
