Maurizio Sarri presented an interesting proposal for the Italian league:

"A player must play a maximum of 50 matches per season. We can eliminate pre-season summer tournaments and instead bring back the Italian Cup matches in August, including the most powerful Italian teams, so that they play in Serie C stadiums and bring in large revenues for teams in this league."
