After a fantastic start to the season, London's Tottenham fell into a rut and suffered their third consecutive loss on Sunday – the "Spurs" had to acknowledge the superiority of Aston Villa at home.
Despite the loss, Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou was pleased with his team's performance.
“It's a painful result, but I couldn't be happier with how my team played. I am proud of my players.
We played fantastically and I have no doubt that on any other day we would win such a match without any major problems.
I cannot blame the players for their attitude or commitment on the field.
Sometimes the result is not what you want, but a coach's job is to look at the bigger picture. Today I was satisfied with my players' performance," – A. Postecoglou said in an interview with Sky Sports.
