"Optibet A Lyga" champions in the last season, the football club "Panevėžys" has retained another representative of the defensive line. The cooperation with the 30-year-old Mark Beneta has been extended for another year.

The Lithuanian national team football player became a Lithuanian champion for the first time with "Panevėžys". In the last season of the "Optibet A Lyga", M. Beneta scored a goal in over 30 matches and provided assists for his teammates twice.

He also played one match in the LFF Cup and the UEFA Conference League qualifiers.

The team coached by Gino Lettieri will start preparing for the new season on January 8.
