In the final matches of the UEFA Europa League group stage, Belgian club "Royale Union SG" unexpectedly defeated "Liverpool" club at home with a score of 2:1.
The hosts took the lead in the 32nd minute through Mohamed Amoura. In the 40th minute, the 20-year-old "Scots" defender Jarell Quansah equalized the score. Then in the 43rd minute, Cameron Puertas once again put "Royale Union SG" ahead. After that goal, the visitors couldn't recover, but still finished first in the group.
In other Group E matches, Linz's "Lask" team lost 1:2 to the "Toulouse" team.
