N. Petkevičius leaves "Hegelmann" club

In the middle of the blue and white ranks, having spent half a year on loan, Nauris Petkevičius will continue his career at a different club. In the 2023 season, the 23-year-old footballer returned to a club in the Kaunas region and played 15 matches in the "Optibet A League" and scored one goal.

N. Petkevičius had the opportunity to demonstrate his skills in the UEFA Conference League qualifying matches.

A player from Babtai representing FC "Hegelmann" in the 2021 season scored 16 goals, made 6 assists, and became one of the best players of that season. After a successful performance in the attacking plan, the player was invited to the Belgian top league club "Charleroi". Later, the player was loaned to the second division team of that country, "Beerschot".

Before the 2023 season, N. Petkevičius was loaned to Vilnius "Žalgiris". In the capital city, the striker played 11 matches (9 in the championship, 1 in the cup, and 1 in the Supercup), but did not score any goals.

"I would like to thank the players and coaching staff of 'Hegelmann' for these six months spent together. There were painful defeats, but also sweet victories that will be remembered for a long time. It was nice to play with such good players and it's great that everyone was friendly and remained as a team until the end of the season," said N. Petkevičius.
