After the tense matches between "Liverpool" and "Manchester United", club representatives exchanged words.
"Liverpool" captain hinted to the media after the match that the "Reds" dominated the game and it was only them who played, while the other team, in this case "Man Utd", played for a draw. These words did not sit well with former "Man Utd" player and captain Roy Keane.
V. van Dijk, speaking to "Sky Sports", stated: "Today, only one team tried to win these matches.. they, I think, are very happy with that one point."
In a live broadcast, R. Keane responded: "Virgil van Dijk is very arrogant. He needs to remember that the "Liverpool" club has won only one title in over 30 years."
The "Reds" did have more chances in these matches, but the game ended in a goalless draw - 0:0.
