“Fluminese” – one step away from triumph in the Club World Cup. However, first they will probably have to beat the “Manchester City” team.
In the semifinals of the special tournament, “Fluminese” defeated “Al Ahly” team 2-0.
In the 71st minute, Jhonas Arias put the Brazilians ahead. He converted a penalty kick earned by Marcelo. By the way, after the goal, the “Al Ahly” players tried to dig a hole at the penalty spot, but the plan didn’t work out as planned.
In extra time, John Kennedy secured the victory for “Fluminese.”
The Brazilian club will face “Manchester City” or Japan's “Urawa Red Diamonds” team in the final. These teams will meet tomorrow.
