“Man Utd” team officially confirmed long-discussed rumors.
As informed by the “Red Devils” club, 25% of the team's shares were sold to billionaire Jim Ratcliffe.
For the opportunity to become a shareholder of the Manchester club, the Englishman paid 1.25 billion pounds sterling.
Earlier, J. Ratcliffe had announced that his controlled INEOS group will be responsible for the football operations of “Man Utd” and will “bring knowledge, assessment, and talent to the team”.
It was also announced that J. Ratcliffe will provide investments worth 237 million pounds sterling in the team's infrastructure.
