The International Federation of Football History and Statistics has announced the top 10 footballers of the year.
The first place went to "Man City" forward Erling Haaland, who surpassed PSG's representative Kylian Mbappe and Miami "Inter" leader Lionel Messi.
Cristiano Ronaldo, the "Al Nassr" forward closely following world football news, experienced a painful blow as he couldn't even make it into this exclusive list.
Nevertheless, the Portuguese decided not to dwell on it too much and demonstrated his mood on social media with emoticons and smiles.
