English champions managed to win this competitive battle for „River Plate“ forward Claudio Echeverri.

As journalist Fabrizio Romano wrote, a verbal agreement between both parties has already been reached and this week signatures will be put on the contract.

A contract lasting several years will be signed with the player himself, but the 17-year-old Argentine will stay in his homeland until the end of this year.

C. Echeverri's transfer fee will be around 20 million euros.
