The London team „Arsenal“ is currently in the biggest slump in the last 2 years. 1 victory in the last 7 matches paints quite an unpleasant picture.
The latest defeat came in the third round of the FA Cup, where the „Gunners“ lost 0:2 at home to the „Liverpool“ team, which played without Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk.
After the defeat, „Arsenal“ coach M. Arteta indicated that they deserved to win, not „Liverpool“.
The Spanish coach stated: „Considering everything, evaluating the performance, there is no question about who deserved to win these matches.
Currently the situation is very difficult, but I would be much more worried if the team were being outplayed, rather than deserving to win matches.“
M. Arteta also talked about Gabriel Jesus' new injury and the possible addition to the attackers' lineup:
„We hope it's nothing serious, but we had to conduct tests on Gabriel (Jesus), we couldn't take any risks. Could it be something serious? We hope not.
„What I really want from the fans is for them to continue to support the team strongly“, - commented the „Arsenal“ coach on the potential addition.
