P. Mamičius travels to Romania

Legionnaire from Croatia Petar Mamić will continue his career in Romania, with CFR Cluj team.

In 2022 and 2023 seasons, the contract of the footballer who represented "Žalgiris" was valid until the end of last year.

Over the two years, the defender played 73 matches, scored 4 goals, and made 17 assists.

In the 2022 season, he played in 13 out of 14 matches of the successful European journey of the Vilnius team, which ended with their first participation in the UEFA tournament group stage.

With the team, the Croatian became the country's champion two seasons ago and won the cup. In the national championship that season, he shared 1-2 places for assists and was selected for the season's national team.

"Thank you everyone for these two years - to the management, coach, best team mates, and everyone in the club. It was an honor to play in this great club and be part of its history. Vilnius will always have a special place in my heart. I hope to return someday," the departing defender wrote.
