The National Stadium, surrounded by legends, may not be built in the coming years.
Vilnius City Council member Aleksandras Nemunaitis announced very interesting information on social media.
"According to unconfirmed data, former "BaltCap" partner Šarūnas Stepukonis (who was responsible for building the National Stadium through UAB "Vilnius multi-functional complex") managed to lose a pile of money at one of the online casinos.
According to my data (again, so far unconfirmed), the amount exceeds 25 million Euros.
If this is true, then "BaltCap" will face very serious financial problems. Serious reputation risk problems will also be faced by "Swedbank" and SEB bank, which invested part of their managed pension funds' money in "BaltCap."
Perhaps that's why everything is being hidden here and I, even having a certain status, do not demand the necessary information. For example, for a month now they have not provided me with a concessionaire's letter in which he supposedly requests a price adjustment, although he must do so within 5 working days. I do not want to pay a gambler's debts out of my own pocket, and you? P.S. I ask journalists to verify this information. P.P.S. Once again, I include a disclaimer that I have no evidence, although I received information from a reliable source," wrote A. Nemunaitis.
