“Manchester United” on Sunday played a 2-2 draw at home against London's “Tottenham” team.
“Red Devils” coach Erik ten Hag praised the team's performance after the draw with “Spurs”, but regretted the two easily missed goals.
“When you score two great goals but concede two in very simple situations, of course, you are disappointed. Still, I have to say that the team played well, and at times we saw very solid passages of play.
The first half was very good, we scored two goals and broke down the opponent's defense well. I am disappointed because we played well, but did not win,” said E. ten Hag.
The Dutchman also had complaints about the match referee, who, according to the coach, should have awarded a penalty to “Tottenham” in the first half when Alejandro Garnacho was held in the penalty area.

“I was surprised by the referee's decision, but what can we do about it? I have gotten used to such decisions in favor of the opponents. In the first match against “Tottenham” we also did not get a clear penalty. I could name more similar situations. Hopefully, at some point this season these decisions will finally be made in our favor,” added the “Man Utd” coach.
