In the 45+2 minute, Mohamed Salah was forced to leave the field due to injury. Soon after, Ghana's goalkeeper Mohamed Kudus put his team ahead.

In the 69th minute, Omar Marmoush equalized the score. However, just 2 minutes later, M. Kudus scored again, putting Ghana back in the lead. In the 74th minute, Mostafa Mohamed equalized the score.
