During the "Globe Soccer Awards" ceremony that took place on Friday, the hosts interviewed both nominees and winners.
One of them was the three-time award-winning "Al Nassr" club forward Cristiano Ronaldo.
The 38-year-old Portuguese was asked who he thinks are the favorites of this season's UEFA Champions League.
"I think that 'Man City' has a great chance to repeat their triumph.
I don't expect the 'cityzens' to win, but I think they have the opportunity," said C. Ronaldo, also mentioning Munich's 'Bayern' and Madrid's 'Real' clubs.
According to the striker, he has no regrets about coming to Saudi Arabia.
"I believe that this league will eventually reach the top three or four among all the world's competitions. Step by step, it will be achieved. Currently, the Saudi Arabian league is not inferior to the French championship."
