Leverkusen's "Bayer" in Germany continues to lead and does so in dramatic ways.
After last weekend's drama, drama struck again - Xabi Alonso's proteges defeated "RB Leipzig" players 3:2 in an away match.
"RB Leipzig" played a great first half. In the 7th minute, Xavi Simons scored a stunning goal to put the hosts ahead. They could have doubled the score in the first half, but "Bayer" held on.
Immediately after the break, "Bayer" equalized - defenders Alejandro Grimaldo and Nathan Tella combined for the goal, with Tella replacing the injured Jeremie Frimpong.
Leverkusen's team immediately took the initiative, but a quick "RB Leipzig" counterattack ended with a goal by Loïs Openda - 2:1.
Jonathan Tah equalized after a corner. At the end of the match, it seemed that the final whistle would result in a draw, but "Leipzig" played poorly after another set piece. Free Piero Hincapie directed the ball into the goal and secured the victory for "Bayer" team.

As of now, Munich's "Bayern" team cannot beat Leverkusen's team.
