Jose Mourinho, dismissed from AS Roma, will have to carefully choose a new project.
With AS Roma, "The Special One" won the Conference League, reached the Europa League final where they lost to Sevilla on penalties, and finished fourth in Serie A twice.
Mourinho's last season at Roma was turbulent. He could have lost his job after a 4-1 defeat to Genoa on September 28, when Roma was in the middle of the table in Italy. He then embarked on a 10-game unbeaten streak, including 7 wins, to restore confidence.
The season ultimately brought changes as Roma failed to compete with their main rivals, leading the club's owners to make the decision to part ways with Jose Mourinho.
Overall, it was a fairly successful spell for Jose in Rome, where the only thing missing was a ticket to the Champions League, which was just one successful penalty shootout away. Everyone knew how it would eventually end, as has been the case in Jose's recent career, but he brought belief, fight, ultimately respect for Roma, and even titles, the lack of which was quite evident.

What awaits the Portuguese next? His market value remains similar, so a club of similar level to Roma could offer a job to the experienced specialist.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Mourinho has so far declined to take over at Saudi Arabia's Al Shabab. Meanwhile, Gazzetta insists that there is nothing happening between Napoli and Mourinho.
In the summer, coaching positions may become available at Barcelona, AC Milan, Napoli clubs. Let's not rule out the possibility that Bayern, West Ham, Newcastle, or another Premier League club might be considering changes. Jose Mourinho's name is big and there is almost no doubt that this man who loves football will continue his career beyond the touchline.
🚨🇵🇹 José Mourinho will not sign for Al Shabab, no intention to proceed in talks — confirmed.
