“Man City” goalkeeper Phil Foden has a special story behind his jersey number.

As the 23-year-old Englishman told “Bleacher Report,” by choosing such a number, he honored a special person.

“When my grandfather passed away, he was only 47, so that’s why I decided to aim for victories, wearing clothing marked with that number,” explained P. Foden.
