Saugas Marti extended his contract with the Spanish team for another two years and will play in Sevilla until the summer of 2010.

The 32-year-old player arrived at Sevilla in 2003, after representing "Tenerife" for three seasons, and has since played 127 "La Liga" matches. Marti's contract would have expired in 2008, but the club offered to extend it for another two years.

"Sevilla" is currently third in the Spanish league and will soon be able to add another UEFA Cup and Spanish King's Cup to their list of trophies. In the UEFA Cup final, "Sevilla" will face Barcelona's "Espanyol" in Glazge, and in the Spanish Cup final in Madrid, they will play against "Getafe".
