The Vilnius team "Vėtra" is plagued by injuries this season. In the last round, the main goalkeeper of the team, Vaidas Žutautas, suffered a serious injury, Dejan Milošeskis, one of the team leaders, has only played a few matches this season, Bobis Božinovskis has only appeared on the field once this year, Defenders Marijan Budimir and Almir Sulejmanovičius are nursing injuries, and Darvydas Šernas is training with a sprained arm.
In the match against the "Šiauliai" club, the goalkeeper suffered a serious knee injury. He tore his lateral knee ligaments and damaged his meniscus. V.Žutautas had a similar injury at the end of last season, but despite not fully recovering, he returned to the field to help the team in crucial battles. Due to the recurring knee injury, the experienced goalkeeper's career is hanging by a thread.
The backup goalkeeper for "Vėtra" was also injured and was not included among the substitutes in the last round. Currently, Kacinkevičius is already training with the team and will be ready for tomorrow's match against "Vilnium".
Defender Marijan Budimir strained his thigh muscle in the match against "Ekranas" and has already missed three matches. The Croatian defender will start training with the team next week.
Defender Almir Sulejmanovičius suffered a much more serious injury. In the match against "Kaunas," the Slovenian tore his cruciate ligaments after a rough tackle from an opponent. Due to this injury, A. Sulejmanovičius will be unable to play for at least a month.
Safety Dejan Milošeskis is troubled by a calf muscle injury. After recovering from a muscle tear, the Macedonian had returned to the field, but the injury resurfaced and he is still unable to help the team. It is planned that D. Milošeskis will be able to train at full strength next week.
Safety Bobis Božinovskis has played only one official match this season. A foot fracture took him out of the ranks. Božinovskis is already training individually and plans to join the team's regular training sessions next week.
Safety Darvydas Šernas cannot play due to a hand injury - in the substitute match, he fractured his wrist bone. The player is training with the team, but avoids contact football.
