In the 10th round of the Lithuanian "A lyga" matches in Šilutė, the local team met Marijampolė's "Sūduva". Despite the early advantage gained by the hosts, three goals later were scored by the Marijampolians, who secured the victory.

Already in the sixth minute, "Šilutė" unexpectedly took the lead - after a mistake by the central defenders, Tadas Straleckas found himself alone against goalkeeper Saulius Klevinskas and brought the hosts ahead.
Later, the Šilutė team retreated to defense and tried to counterattack, but after a set piece, "Sūduva" equalized the score in the 35th minute - Brazilian Willer scored from about 25 meters with a penalty shot.
"Sūduva" continued to attack and a couple of minutes before the end of the half, after two consecutive corner kicks, defender Giedrius Klevinskas led his team ahead with a header.
After the break, the game evened out a bit, and the opponents' goal was more threatened by the "Sūduva" players, but goalkeeper Laurynas Vertelis stopped Tom Miklinevičius' shot from the penalty area.
"Šilutė" tried to equalize, but did not create realistic chances to score, and in the 78th minute, after confusion in front of the hosts' goal, Gvidas Juška scored the third goal for the visitors. "Sūduva" won 3-1 and with their fifth victory, they share the 4-5 positions with Panevėžys "Ekranas".
