A predicted draw between the teams of "Hansa Rostock" and "Bayer". However, in the 58th minute, the score became unequal, when Dimitar Berbatov scored a goal. Later, Marko Babic also scored in the 75th minute. A yellow card rain didn't leave these matches. From the 54th to the 81st minute, eight yellow cards were shown. "Hansa Rostock" received five cards (Thomas Rasmussen, Martin Max, Marcus Lantz, Ronald Maul, and Rene Rydlewicz) - while "Bayer" received three cards (Carsten Ramelow, Diego Placente, and Dimitar Berbatov).
A big surprise was presented by the "Bayern" club. They were unable to snatch a victory away from home against "Hertha BSC. Goals were scored by "Bochum" (Vahid Hashemian 16' and Dariusz Wosz 45') Both goals for "Kaiserslautern" were by Wratizslav Lokvenic 55' and 62'. Six footballers received yellow cards against themselves. "Bochum": Paul Freier and Rein van Duijnhoven. "Kaiserslautern": Timo Wenzel, Miroslav Klose, Nedan Bjelica and Lucien Mettomo.
"Monchengladbach" defeated the promising "Hamburger SV" team. The 3-0 result does not reflect the match. It could have ended differently. From the 88th minute, the "Hannover" team played with ten men, as Mahammadou Idrissou was sent off for a second yellow card. Also, yellow cards were shown to Dariusz Zuraw, Thomas Brdaric of "Hannover", Dario Rodriguez, Sergio Pinto, and Ebbe Sand of "Schalke". Other matches will be played on Sunday, March 21st.
