As expected, "Vėtra" started the match actively and put pressure on their opponents. The first goal came in the 8th minute. After a pass from the left side, Lima Severino stopped the ball with his right foot and coolly beat Audrius Dilys.
"Interas" tried their luck from distance a couple of times, but the attempts by Povilas Krasnovskis and Artūras Jeršovas were very inaccurate.
Meanwhile, "Vėtra" continued to create opportunities. After Andrius Skerla's pass, L. Severino headed just over the crossbar, and shortly after a corner kick, Egidijus Juška found himself free in front of the goal, but shot straight at goalkeeper A. Dilys.
In the 20th minute, with a costly mistake by "Inter's" defender Marius Stanaičius, the hosts' leader in this match, L. Severino, broke through towards the goal, outsmarted A. Dilys, and sent the ball into the empty net – 2-0.

In the 38th minute, the new goalkeeper for Vilnius, Stanislav Kozyrev, carelessly left his goal far and failed to intercept the ball, but Povilas Krasnovskis hesitated and missed the opportunity.
Approaching halftime, from afar, Mindaugas Panka's shot narrowly missed the goal next to the post.
After the break, "Vėtra's" attacks continued. In the 52nd minute, after a pass from Lima Severino from the left, Visaginas club defender Vaidas Macianskis's deflection went towards the goal, and shortly after, Nerijs Sasnauskas shot strongly from the side next to the post.
In the 58th minute, near the penalty area line, L. Severino tricked a few opponents but shot straight at A. Dilys.
Midway through the half, the game leveled out. "Inter's" players were able to hold onto the ball longer and create attacks, but they couldn't create favorable opportunities.
In the 77th minute, a point was put in these match. Initially, in a second goal attempt, "Inter's" defender M. Stanaitis made a gross mistake, unexpectedly testing the vigilance of his goalkeeper, but this shot – a header pass by A. Dilys, went over the crossbar. After a corner kick, a confusion arose in front of the goal, and with the second attempt by the hosts, captain Julius Raliukonis scored the third goal.
Five minutes later, N. Sasnauskas almost broke through A. Dilys with a powerful shot from play. This "Vėtra's" defender, playing his 100th match for the club, not only stood out with dangerous attacks but also with nervous play and conflicts with opponents and referees.
No more goals were scored, and "Vėtra" celebrated a well-deserved victory with a score of 3-0.
