Amsterdam club has added a safe from Sweden to its ranks. A 26-year-old safe signed a four-year contract.
K.Bakircioglu represented his homeland club "Hammarby" from 1999 to 2003, played for Salonika's "Iraklis" from 2003 to 2005, and represented Enschede's "Twente" for the past two seasons, with his contract ending after this season. The Swede, who finished fourth in the Dutch league this season, scored 15 goals.
"I am very pleased that I will be playing for "Ajax". It is a very good and famous club, playing the attacking football that I like very much. I feel very good," - said Kennedy Bakircioglu after signing a contract with the Dutch vice-champions.
"My good friend Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who played for "Ajax" himself, spoke very highly of this club. I look forward to fitting in here and earning the fans' sympathy and support," - added the Swede.
Earlier, "Ajax" also signed a four-year contract with another safe from Belgium, Laurent Delorge, who played for "Den Haag".
