The German club Eintracht Frankfurt has extended contracts with three football players – midfielder Markus Weissenberger, and defenders Aleksandar Vasoski and Patrick Ochs.
M. Weissenberger, whose contract was set to expire after this season, has extended it for another year. The 32-year-old Austrian international, playing his fourth season in Frankfurt, has appeared in 10 Bundesliga matches this season.
The 23-year-old academy product of Eintracht, P. Ochs, will stay at the club until 2010, while the 27-year-old Macedonian international A. Vasoski's contract is extended until 2011.
After extending his contract, the Macedonian player expressed his joy: "This team has given me a chance to prove myself in the Bundesliga and establish myself here, and for that I am very grateful. I believe that I have significantly improved over the past six months."
With just one round left until the end of the German championship, Eintracht is currently in 14th place. The club finished in the same position in the previous season.
